Miami, Florida. CIMA Group announced today that it has appointed seasoned telecommunications executive, Paul Wealls, as the new Senior Vice President of Sales. Mr. Wealls comes to CIMA Group with over 15 years of experience with high caliber Telecom companies such as Orange UK, BT Global Services, Telcordia and Telstra. Mr. Wealls joins a dynamic team led by Conrad D’Souza, Chief Operating Officer of CIMA Group.

“Paul’s focused experience with telecom trading partners and bilats/swaps with the wholesale and retail players in the industry brings a wealth of value to the company and enables him to hit the ground running,” explained D’Souza.

As Senior Vice President for Sales, Paul Wealls is responsible for dramatic growth and development of the Auris platform as a service, as well as other evolutionary products and services that will be evolving from CIMA Group’s product line. Paul will ensure stability and growth with the company’s installed base while extending its reach with new technology in fresh markets for the Cima Group companies.

Paul Wealls first began his career at Orange UK in 2000. Years later, Paul joined BT Global Services and then transitioned to managing top tier accounts at Telstra Australia. In 2010, Paul returned to the UK where he developed an A2P SMS strategy at Orange UK and developed a new team and dramatically accelerated growth from $4M to $40M at Everything Everywhere (EE), a joint venture with T-Mobile and Orange UK. Mr. Wealls grew the business 10 fold in a two and half year period. In 2014, Paul joined iconectiv, formally Telcordia, as Director of Messaging Product Line.
